Welcome to The Wu Room. My name is Effie Wu, I am a trainee counselor based in Barcelona.

I often think of crisis like waves that come crushing down. We often only recognize a wave only when it is at its peak, with its towering force and weight. But a wave is built from miles away, under the seemingly peaceful surface of the ocean. When it gains enough momentum, it comes to the surface, crashes down, sweeping us flat.

I’d like to help you in identifying the undercurrents and understanding their dynamics. Hopefully, by giving space to the building of the waves, we would learn to be with them, even ride the tide one day.
